A little book that captions how I started drawing my art career is going already and where I expect it to go within the next couple years.
Project 2: Cubist Portrait
Second project where we made abstract pictures of ourselves. This was accomplished by mixing and matching parts and pieces of different drawings we did in sketchbooks.
Project 3: Perspective Graphite and Texture
A night time scene that uses perspective to bring the stairs into a focus point as a way to allow semi-hidden detail to thrive as a person continues to examine and explore the piece. The two main focal points with animals are the deer and the magpie, with a hidden squirrel in one of the trees.
Project 4: Image Transfer with Color
Building off a story being written by me. There is an entrance between these two deer that leads to the start of the story. Using alcohol marker paper and line weight with the markers, I transferred the original sketch onto the paper and without black lines colored in the piece.
Project 5: Pastel Portrait
This is a memorial portrait of my late dog Zoula. Using chalk pastels, I overly exaggerated her color of blue and enhanced her golden brown eyes as an attention getter of the piece.
